About Big Lake Cruisers Membership:
Big Lake Cruisers is a small group of car collectors and enthusiasts. We also welcome owners of motorcycles as many of our members have both a classic and a motorcycle.
We do not require that you currently own a car or motorcycle to be a member. We do require that you have a love and appreciation of the classic or collectible automobiles and/or motorcycles. Any member of the club can propose you for membership.
Membership is $30.00 per year. The price is the same regardless if you are a single or a family. Dues run from January 1 thru December 31st of each year. We typically run a special on membership July 1st thru December 31st which means that if you join during this time, you pay half-price membership dues till the end of the year. Then the following year, your dues go back to $30.00.
Club meetings are typically held every second Tuesday of the month, in the lobby of Everglades Federal Credit Union, 1099 West Ventura Avenue, Clewiston, Fl., 33440. The meeting starts at 7 p.m. If you want to attend a meeting, just to check us out, we ask that you contact one of the officers listed on the home page so we can put you on the meeting agenda.
We also host a monthly cruise night, the first Thursday of every month, at Clewiston Elks Lodge, 6-9 p.m.. 250 N. Francisco Street. 50/50 drawing as well as food and beverages are available.
During the rest of the year, we try to attend other cruise nights and various car shows and host other club events, such as a picnic . Our annual fundraiser is the Sugar Festival Rod Run with most of the proceeds going to our scholarship program which benefits two graduates of Clewiston High School each year.
